Synopsis
Discover the space through scientific thinking and Islamic astronomy.
A unique holiday programme where children explore space, astronomy and Ilmu Falak through hands-on activities, experiments, and guided observation. Designed specially for curious young minds who love to ask "WHY?" and "HOW?"
Instead of screens, they will spend the day learning , exploring and applying real concepts, from understanding the moon exploration, rockets, astronomy to learning how the sun affects shadow, and how direction can be understood from the sky.
Led by Experts-Facilitated by Hafez Murza, CEO of Apadilangit, a NASA Citizen Science Leader.
Let them experience science in a way that sparks curiosity and confidence.
What your child will learn:
- How the sun, earth and moon move and interact
- How shadow change throughout the day
- Practical fundamentals of ilmu falak (islamic Astronomy)
- Direction finding using the sun and celestial reference
- Sky observation and hands on science activities
- Critical and scientific thinking through questions and exploration
Children will learn, build, test and explain not just memorise!
Suitable for 8 - 12 years old
