Synopsis

Calling all young explorers!
Parents! Get your child to spend their last few weeks of holiday at the Young Astronomer Space Camp. A camp where they can finally engage their curiosity about stars, the moon, and the universe, all while discovering the role of astronomy in Islam.
This camp introduces your children to the beauty of Islamic astronomy through hands-on activities and real sky observation. Designed for young learners aged 8-12 years old, this programme helps them understand how Muslims throughout history used the sun, moon and stars to determine time, direction and important dates. Through DIY tools and guided observations, students will explore how science and faith come together in the study of falak.
Led by experts - Facilitated by Hafez Murza, CEO of Apadilight, a NASA citizen Science Leader.
At the Young Astronomer, you will learn:
- Discover Ilmu falak - Understand the science behind the Islamic calendar
- Understand the Qiblat - Learn how prayer times are calculated using the sun and shadow
...and many more!
Kids love space, but rarely get the chance to connect the passion with Islam.
This camp bridges both worlds, helping them see that Islam encourages exploration, thinking, and discovering knowledge.
Let your child learn, explore, and grow into a confident young astronomer, with strong iman and stronger curiosity.
Limited seats - register now! All are welcome to join.
